Yes it's possible! Imperial Plastic Surgery now offers The Weekend Facelift, a lower cost, less time consuming answer to traditional facelift surgery. Our renowned cosmetic plastic surgeons have recently modernized this procedure that has become the answer to many baby boomers' prayers.

Am I a good candidate for this procedure?
There are many people today that are feeling the effects of aging, but they're just not good candidates for a full facelift, in most cases The Weekend Facelift is an ideal solution for this group. The most ideal candidate will be between the ages of 35-55. A FREE consultation is the best method of determining if the Weekend Facelift is suitable for you.

Why do you call it the Weekend Facelift?
Our patients commonly refer to this procedure as the Weekend Facelift because of the shortened length of the procedure and recovery time.

When can I return to my normal routine?
Most patients return to work or their normal routine within two days following the procedure. Some patients have even been able to plan events the very afternoon of their of their procedure, however, this is not recommended. It is generally recommended that patients "take it easy" for a couple of days after the procedure. Many patients say they feel nearly normal that afternoon, however, by the next morning they experience some discomfort.

What can I expect during the procedure?
The procedure is performed using a local anesthetic; this means that the patient will not be "asleep" during the procedure. Our surgeon will numb the treatment area and he'll be certain you are completely comfortable during the procedure. It involves a small surgical incision in front of each ear. Excess skin is surgically removed and the skin edges are sutured in place. The procedure generally takes about an hour and the patients are generally able to finish the day in a normal fashion.

How is the Weekend Facelift different from a traditional facelift?
As compared to a full facelift there is distinctly less swelling and bruising with the Weekend Facelift. Traditional facelifts requires the patient to be under general anesthesia or be asleep, and are sometimes performed in outpatient centers. The Weekend Facelift procedure is approximately one-third of the cost of a full facelift.
